About Juan’s Home Brewery and this site
I started making beer in 1993, brewing an English-style ale in our apartment which I called “Righteous Real Ale”, using a recipe I made up myself using Charlie Papazian’s The Complete Joy of Homebrewing as a style-guide.
After a hiatus of some years, I have recently taken up the hobby again, spurred onward by the gift from my wife of a Cornelius keg, CO2 tank, and regulator. I have since expanded the set-up to include a second 5-gallon keg and a 2-tap keggerator.
I started Juan’s Home Brewery blog as my digital brewlog and as a repository of beer-related articles, links, images, reviews, or other items. After some months of trials, I have settled on Blogger as more suitable to my needs, even though I prefer the appearance of WordPress blogs. Therefore this blog will from now on be continued at juanshomebrewery.blosgspot.com.
